yaar i saw a problem today in which the author found projection of a vector on another vector turning out negative.but in final answer he wrote tht the projection is=+vew of tht value obtained.......

now here is my doubt!!!!

is it tht projection if negative has to be written as positive???

btw i doubt the correctness of taking positive since we do have negative projections[otherwise no point on negative axes would be there :P :P[3]......but my doubt is tht is it convention to take it always as positive?????]
