1i solved it by assuming a equilateral triangle.....and my ans is 36 sq cm....
but i was thinking if we solve it taking a right angle triangle thn hw we'll do it.,...
three straight lines r drawn thru a pt lying in a triangle abc ,parallel to its side.the area of the resulting triangles are 1,4,9 sq cm..then area of triangle abc????

9y restrict urself its easy to see in general that ans is 36 always by similarity of triangle
