got it bhaiya, this is no. of straight line for any non collinear point but bhaiya those points are lie on a line , then how this???
@ archana nd avinav , can u post the solution for 2nd question??
1.there are two straight lines. ten points lie on the first line and 8 point lie on the second line. of each points on the other line are joined to each other by line segment , the no. of point of intersction of these lines segments is??
a)1240 b)1250 c)1260 d)2440
2. if z= x-iy and z1/3= p+iq
then the value of
(x/p+y/q)/(p2+q2) is
a)1 b) -2 c) 2 d)-1
3.let LL1 be the latus rectum of hyperbola and S1 be the another focus.
if the triangle LL1S1 is an eqilateral traingle , then the ecentricity of the hyoerbola is???
1) 10C2 x 8C2
Can you think of the logic after the answeR (If the answer is correct)
1.>c)....Ishant bhaiya is right(as always)
2)b)-2 ????
3.) √2
edited
for 3
so tan 60°=(2a2e)/b2...(i)
and also b2=a2(e2-1).....(.ii)
solve i and ii.
@avinav i dont thnk the ans to 3rd one is √2 (b'coz then it would be rectangular hyperbola) rather the answer is √3.

for 2nd question just take an example as
x+iy=1 (ie x=1and y=0)
and p+iq=w(omega) (i.e p=-1/2 and q=√3/2)
so u get ans as -2
