@avinav i dont thnk the ans to 3rd one is √2 (b'coz then it would be rectangular hyperbola) rather the answer is √3.

got it bhaiya, this is no. of straight line for any non collinear point but bhaiya those points are lie on a line , then how this???

for 2nd question just take an example as

x+iy=1 (ie x=1and y=0)

and p+iq=w(omega) (i.e p=-1/2 and q=√3/2)
so u get ans as -2
