but how would you depict independence in VENN diagram
it is a very good concept reckoner::
three processes A,B,C are mutually independent, are they independent as a whole?? prove your answer..

Hint: Venn diagram could be of great use in this one !(if someone does not want to think in terms of practical cases!)
take a case when the oveall intersection is null
but individual intersections exist
that is mutually exclusive, i required independence..
ref:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statistical_independence
solution by example:
Roll two dice, independently. Let E = [the first die is a 3], F = [the second
die is a 4], and G = [the sum is 7].
The events E and F are pairwise independent, by assumption. The fact that
E and G are pairwise independent is a common exercise for students in a first
course in probability theory (just verify that the multiplication rule P(E ∩ G) = P(E)P(G) holds). Similarly, F and G are pairwise independent.
But E and F together imply G, so E, F, and G are not independent..
Yeah Ith power.. i din read the question diligently..
Now i am reading all the posts of the last 3-4 days.. havent given too much time to the forum...
Good work dear :)
