find x + y + z if...

1. If x,y and z are real numbers such that (x - 3)2 + (y - 4)2 + (z - 5)2 = 0. Then, x + y + z =

(A) -12
(B) 0
(C) 8
(D) 12

the condition given on x,y and z will be satisfied only when
(x - 3)2 =0
(y - 4)2 =0
(z - 5)2 =0

so (x,y,z)=(3,4,5)

so (D) is the answer

since, a^2 + b^2 + c^2 = 0 and square of any no. can't be negative so
a = 0 , b = 0 and c = 0 ..... :) :) :) :) :)
