u mean y = constant ??

a and b are variable and therefore,x is variable tooo...we want a graph of y versus x!

y = a√ab-1b√ab=ab-1√ab = √ab - 1√ab = 1x - x

y=1x - x

and how to draw tht graph...y=1/x-x

a bit of analysis:

dydx = -1x2-1 (always negative) function wherever defined is decreasing..

d2ydx2 = 2x3

so, d2ydx2 > 0 for x > 0
and, d2ydx2 < 0 for x < 0

so, for x > 0 , the curve is concave when viewed from upward side and for x < 0 , the curve is concave when viewed from downward side..

@ subhomoy ATGS, your second step is wrong it should be ab-1 / b*sqrt(ab) , and x = 1/ √ab therefore x^2 = 1/ab or a = 1 / bx^2 implies the ax = 1/bx, so y=0
