whn the binding energy of products is greater than the binding energy of reactants , the energy will be released.

the concept is simply that when two nuclei fuse or fission of a heavy nucleus occurs... the binding energy should increase.
Here,
for 1 < A < 50, the fused nucleus has 2 < A < 100, so the binding energy lies in same range.
for 51 < A < 100, fused nucleus : 102 < A < 200 , binding energy increases.
Similarly,
for (c), binding energy will obviously decrease !!!
for (d), binding energy increases.(100 < A < 130 )
Ans: (b),(d)
