a)1/2 - 1/1*3*....*101

b) -1/2(1 - 1/1*3*....*101)

c) 49/1*3*....*101

d) 50/1*3*...*101

ANS :- (b) as per the book.....

i m getting -1/2(1/1*3-1/1*3*5*101)

main bhi yahin tak aaya tha....maine kha na common term nahin nikal rahi.....let's other too try....

i found general term as r/1.3.5....(2r-1)(2r+1)
thus its equal to 1/2{1/1.3.5...(2r-1)-1/1.3.5.7.....(2r+1) }
