can u please explain how u got it ?
i kinda started this tday....can u please show and explain the whole problem?
if λ not equal to μ and
λ2 = 5λ - 3 and μ2 = 5μ-3
Find the equation whose roots are λ / μ and μ / λ
please show the whole method and how you got everything.
thanks !

as u can observe tht λ nd μ r the two rots of eqn x2-5x+3=0
so sum of roots λ+μ=5 n λμ=3 rite..
now we ve to find a quadratic whose roots are λ/μ nd μ/λ
so obviously d product of root ll be 1
wat we ve to find is λ/μ+μ/λ =λ2+μ2/μλ
λ2+μ2=(λ+μ)2-2μλ=25-6=19 is
thus sum of roots=19/3
so eqn is x2-19/3x+1=0
