PLEASE SOLVE THE EQUATION

2. Let a,b,c,p,q be real nos.Suppose m,n are thw roots of the equation x²+2px+q=0 and m,1/n are the roots of ax²+2bx+c=0 where n² DOES NOT BELONG TO {-1,0,1}

PROVE THAT bâ‰ pa and câ‰ qa.

I solved it.
The answer is one solution and x=5/4

@swordfish, but x=5/4 doesnt satisfy the equation...it is an extraneous solution as u must have squared the equation....

so no solution
