at x = 2pi/3, sin x is positive while cos x is negative

so the given functioni is same as -cos x + sin x

its derivative is sin x + cos x

Substitute x=2pi/3 to get 1/2-√3/2

sir , can we use chain rule here

mod(cosx)/cosx * (-sinx) +mod(sinx)/sinx *cosx if the value of x is not mentioned

yes you can but here the two functions will be modulus and sin or modulus and cos

derivative of modulus function is the signum function (except at zero)
