when x→0 x is alwys>sin x u cn refer 2 graph.....so (sin x/x)<1 so GIF=0

how is it that
Lim (x→0) [sin xx] = 0
nd similar case for tan x
[.] is GIF....
wht is the value of [cos 0] .... is it 0 or 1.... i m confused//

lim (x->0) sinx/x means the value of fn approaches 1 as x->0 but never equal to 1, it is just approaching 1, so [ ] of that is zero. consider if the value of the fn is (say) as x->0 is .99999999999....... (not 1.0000000000000001 why not?) then its [] is 0.
for tanx (sin(x)/x)*cosx
[cos0]=1 ([ 1 ]=1)
