It is not a very tough problem.. but i guess you have just started off with integration

Try to substitute x²+1 as t

or else try to substitute x = tan Î¸

Keep experimenting :)

put t= x^2 + 1 so, dt=2x dx
so, its equal to ln| x^2 + 1|
