to clear my doubt?
why we take left and write limits and function at c to find the continuity of the function in case of split values of a given function that is of the type as intgrate f(x), when its value is =9 when x<=0 and is 2 when its value is 5 when x >0 . when we give f (x) as a plynomial e.g . f(x) = 3x^2 + 5x+3 and limit =3 then we test only the limit at 3 that is x tends to 3 , not its left and right limit .why ?

hmmmmmm... we do like this kya ? i never did ...
may be becoz.. general polynomial functions are continuous functions in their domains ... so if they are continuous at x=a, then they are continuous at nearby values of a.
