f(x+Ï€)= mod(cos(x+Ï€))= mod(-cosx)=mod(cosx)=f(x)
hence f(x) is periodic with period π
from the graph of greatest integer function we can observe that after definite intervals of x we obtain different values of y i.e the value of y does not repeat hence its not periodic
