₀∫^pi/2dx/√1-ksin²x=₀∫^pi/2dx√1-kcos²x

take I=₀∫^pi/2dx/√1-ksin²x

2I= ₀∫^pi/2dx/√1-ksin²x+₀∫^pi/2dx√1-kcos²x
Try this manner tell me if ur getting........

well take the 1 as cos²x + sin²x

then it reduces to

₀∫^Ï€/2 1 / √cos²x + (k-1)sin²x

then by properties .
we get

2I = ₀∫∫^Ï€/2 1 / √(sin²x + (k-1)cos²x ) ( cos²x + (k-1) sin²x )

then well divide Nr and Dr by cos²x then this should be over hopefully. is this ok ?

@skygirl: are you sure the qn needs you to integrate the function. Or are they aksing something else (like its increasing or decreasing??)

MAKE IT OF FORM∫dx/1-(x) =(sin)-1 (x) so answer is (sin)-1 √k
