This one is a good question..

CB=R cot Î±

CP = CB cos Î± = R cos Î± cot Î±

CM = R / sin Î± - R = R(1/ sin Î± - 1)

area ratio = (CP/CM)²

While, CP/CM = cos Î± cot Î±1/sin Î±-1= cos² Î±1-sin Î± (where alpha tends to 90 degrees)

1-sin² Î±1-sin Î± = 1+sin Î± = 2

Hence Area ratio = 2² = 4
