They hav clearly mentioned a>b;
But all the options are having√b-a. How is that possible??

And in page 25.16 exampple 30, I took b2 outside and substituted x = a/b * sinθ, and i got √a2 - b2x2 / (a2b) But answer given is entirely diff. though my method is different , Can anyone of u try check whether mine is correct... Q. is ∫ dx/(a2-b2x2)3/2
mathie... I did in the alternate soln . way(without luking at it),
and i substituted t=√b-a*cos x, in the denominator , after converting all the terms in den. to cos x

i subs. t= sec x., i am gettin an (2-x2) in the denominator of √x2-1 in the final answer of Qs. 29 page-25.16,
