Hearing v/s Seeing

Why can we hear but not see around a corner? (Means around the wall)

maybe because light has diff. wavelengths which reflect(or bend) by diff angles around a corner...whereas sound waves bend uniformly...[12][12]

the concept of diffraction i think.....
maybe due to the wavelength of sound it can easily bend on sharp corners while light cant.......

Think of what we need to see an image..

Basically about image formation.. we need an image to see it..

sound travels through the walls... light does not :D
