well one bad soln.. is putting y = (3x - c)/4 into the eqn. of the circle and putting D = 0 nd finally c... well urs is the best one... !!
find the eqn. of those tangents to the circle x2 + y2 - 2x - 4y - 4 = 0 which are parallel to the line 3x - 4y - 1 = 0

lets assume the tangent to be: 3x-4y=c
then we have distance from centre to this line is equal to radius.
apply this and get the value of c
