THink of it like this
area of triangle with a fixeed base is 1
the third point moves along a circle
so the number of such points will be 4

draw a circle with diameter as AB
the equation (x-1)(x-3)+(y-2)(y-4) is that of the circle with diameter as AB
so the third point x is a poijnt on this circle..
Now answer the same question using geometry :)
