1st one does not seem very clear....what do u exactly mean by cutting a curve at an angle, next one however is killed by simple application of derivatives, α=2, and putting (2,3) in given eqn, β can be calculated....Steps include calculation of dydx at (2,3)....
A NORMAL TO A PARABOLA Y2=4AX MAKES ANGLE θ WITH X AXIS WHERE TANθ=2 IF IT CUTS THE CURVE AGAIN AT AN ANGLE θ1 THEN θ1EQUALS
A. 45 B. 30
C. 60 D. 90
IF X+4Y=14 IS A NORMAL TO CURVE Y2=αX3-βAT (2,3) THEN VALUE OF α+β IS
A. 9 B. -5
C. 7 D.-7
