I think the answer is something else.
Actually if you consider normal at any point and draw two lines through the point inclined at π/6, then this point and the two points where these lines intersect the ellipse form an equilateral triangle.

(Ans is (a2+3b2)x2a2+(3a2+b2)y2b2=(a2-b2)2...please give the entire working)
