any reasons?
which of these courses is good and why?
Electronics or Electrical @ IT-BHU
CSE/Electrical @ new IITs like Bhubhaneshwar/Jaipur/Gandhinagar/Punjab/Patna
Electronics&Instrumentation @ BITS-Pilani
Biotech @ IITM (don't have much of an inclination towards this, but is it worth it just for IITM?)
Metallurgy dual degree @ IIT-Kgp/IITM (same as above)
Chemical @ IIT - Guwahati
Engineering Physics @ IIT - Guwahati
CSE @ BITS-Goa

nishant bhaiya .....i dont agree with you....
doin a five course in in a field lyk metallurgy ....jus for the sake of iit tag.....i dont think wud be the ryt decision .....
1. it restricts yur horizon
2 . mba becums a must
3. deprives of second attempt.....

i too have the same problem...i have decided to join NIT and attempt JEE again next year.

even i hav decided giv it a try nxt yr ....
i had sent a query to the HOD of metallurgy @ IIT KGp:
My query:
Respected Sir, I have one more doubt...
an IIT KGP chemical student told me that...
"There is a lot of mechanical in metallurgical and material science .. and automobole companied too place metallurgy students...and that if I choose metallurgy.. i can later turn to automobiles with proper electives and minors.."
His reply:
thanks for your queries. yes, you can do a planty of reserach. right now i'm doing a lot of research in finland along with one my undergraduate students, who has come here with me. yes, moving into automobile sector is a possibility.
Fantastic placements (huge packages offered)
