so 1/f_a1/f_w = (u_a - 1)(u_w -1)

or f_wf_a = (u_a - 1)(u_w -1)

so f_wf_a = 1.5 - 11.5/(4/3) - 1 = 4

so f_w = 4 fa = 4 x 8 = 32 cm

Finally D -4 C -2

4)a actually they are asking for the total charge in the circuit...

the individual charges come out to be 400 mu C and 900 mu C

so total charge in circuit which flows = 900 + 400 = 1300 mu C
