the general formula for the unit of rate of reaction is
mol^(1-n)L^(n-1)s^-1.
so if we put n=0 then unit becomes molL^-1s^-1.
if we put n=2 then unit becomes Lmol^-1s^-1.
so their should be two answers.

It asked for the unit of rate of reaction and not rate constant. :)

you mean to say that rate of reaction will have unit molL^-1s^-1 only.
and the formula that i have written is only to find the unit of rate constant?

Haan bhai, The Unit of Reaction Rate is Fixed (always Conc. per unit time), it is the unit of Rate Constant which varies 'coz it is taken out relative to the reaction order n the unit of rate....
