now my ans was that after C+ forms , there will be hydride shift and a benzylic C+ will be formed , and then alcohol

but in the ans he has put OH on the left carbon of doubly bond

and how is the right carbon of double bond more sterically hindered than the left wala carbon?

You mean allyl carbocation..right? H+ will attack cyclopropane..
