you should do such problems by drawing the triangle

The hypotenuse here is (1+x) and the Perpendicular is (1-x)

Then the base wil lbe √4x

Now can you find the remaining part of this question?

I'M GETTING -1√x ( 1 + x ) where 1+x is not under square root.
