it is scalar..
it has magnitude and direction but it does not follow the Triangle rule of vectors.
till our level, it is a scaler and reason has been justified by ronald...but as our physics sir told us in 11th and now while teaching this too, current is a tensor...which is neither a scaler completely , and nor a vector...
but he told us that we need not know much about tensors now coz it is not a part of JEE syllabus, but M.Sc...
and so, for our level, it is a scaler...i hope i m clear...
yes ur rite.but it is not a scalar .This is due to the direction of flow is necessary for finding the magnetic field.That is y it is called as constraint vector which was given in one of the mtg issue.
As a whole it can be said dat it is a mixture of vector and scalar
