what i can argue will be purely theoritical(whch is obvious as i do not have any experimental exposures :()
Anyways! so the first thing that comes into my mind is that there must be some mechanical binding force in an electron which doesnot allow it to spit apart!!
in this context we can discuss the case of a charged soap bubble... the charge wants to burst away the bubble but the surface tension keeps it intact...similar is the case!!
ie what am basically trying to say is that electron is just one physical quantity!! and it is NOT made up of discreet materials!!!***

The next thing is we take a higher leap...that is considering that electrons are made up of smaller components known as quarks...well i am not well versed with the concept yet in a theoritical agenda i may try to discuss it...
Well we might consider the quarks to be electrically insulated components!! i.e. i call quarks as the basis of charge and a quark CANNOT lose its identity due to interaction with some other equivalent particle!!!
Also a negatively charged electron is NOT necessarily made up of only negatively charged components only that it must have more negatively charged components that positively charged ones....
now using classical theory that like charges repel and unlike charges attract we can very easily consider a spatial arrangement of these components that will ensure stability i.e. net force on each component of electron will be attractive and there will be no chance of splitting apart of the electrons...!!!***

Arguement 3!!
first let us discuss the nucleus...
it is something that is made of discreet positive particles and neutral particles...yet it does not split up due to presence of binding nuclear forces...(in Class 8 i had read in a book that there is rapid interconversion between protons and neutrons that do not allow the nucleus to spit up)...but the nucleus doe disintegrate in case of radioactive elements....and thus we conclude that there is a factor till which the nuclear force can provide stability beyond which the nucleus splits up into smaller tit-bits to gain more stability!!
Similarly we can consider electrons to be made up of negative and neutral components...
as opposed to the previous post, we say that the components can interchange among themselves!! Thus just like the action of the nuclear forces we might call this force a "interquartic" force which gives stability to the electron...but again there will be a factor that would ensure that there cannot be too much assembly of quarks together...as a result we see a same electron irrespective of the source!!***

at this i have a doubt u said tht the attraction due to opp charged paticles(quarks) will hold the whole electron together but the -ve charge is more than + charge so it will attract less but repel other -ve charge more naa
lemme read further now

LOL sanchit!! i dont know any of them...seems am creating physics!!
will write back after 11 30 pm!!
lemme think of more explanations now!!
cheers!!

The question imposed could be thought of as one of the basic questions Quantum Chromodynamical Theory Of Matters has solved . The force in question is none other than Strong Force , which holds together these fundamental particles through interactions between Quarks And Anti - quarks with the help of some mediators called Gluons . Actually , these quarks are said to possess something called a " Colour charge " . Two quarks having the same " colour charge " attract each other , and vice versa .

ohh kk so it is like we can consider an electron two be made of three down quarks each having a charge equal to -1/3e which attract each other nd r held by gluons also........so total charge wud be q=-1e.....
