11negative means the polarity is opposed to the one you have assumed
while doing a sum the emf of a battery in a circuit came out to be negative.surprisingly the answer was negative.how is it possible.how is the current flowing then??

1ya but..i havent assumed ne thing..the battery was given in the circuit diagram.i just found out its emf using given data.
