i did flux[curve]= q/E - flux thru 2 circles
flux thru 2 circles=q/2E[1-4/5], q/2E[1-12/13]....got this by integrating..
now subtract--- u get 56/65.,
value of [flux]*[epsilon] through curved surface=?..
i'm getting 56/65..
pls confrm...

Yep , I did a silly mistake . Your answer is absolutely correct . However , there is no need of doing painful integrations if you know the concept of Solid Angle .
i don't know much abt solid angle....how does dat helpt here? pls tell[in short]
