Gauss Law

Here is a problem that i got stuck onto.Pls help me out.

1) A non-conducting sheet of large surface area and thickness 'd' contains uniform charge distribution of density 'ρ'.find the electric field at a point 'P'inside the plate at a distance 'x' from the central plane.Draw a qualitative graph of E against x for 0<x<d.

Arpan, This is not very difficult

All you have to do is to use guass's law.

FInd the electric field due to the part on the irght and part on the left.

It is one of those problems wehre there is a parallel plate capcitor, we take the charge on the right side adn divide by area...

The electric field will be zero right at the center..
And ahve opposite values on both sides of the center.

Can you figure out what is going on?
