i just used the eqns
in the 1st case B=0
in the 2nd case all the values are just substituted
any further needed
A metal disc of radius a=25 cm rotates with a constant angular velocity ω = 130 rad/s about its axis. Find the potential difference between the centre and the rim of the disc if
a) The external magnetic field is absent.
b) The external uniform magnetic field of induction B=5.0mT is directed perpendicular to the disc.

Sarath, dont mind.. but the answers are given right at the end of IRODOV :P
I hope you could give some more details or some hints/ steps to solve them so dat i know where i am wrong
Sorry if i am rude
a) The answer 0 is pretty obvious , cause if magnetic field is absent there will be no potential difference whichever point you take.
b) We know that the V=Bvl . Also v = ω r
We take a differential length dl .
So our equation is dV = B ωr dl
Now Integrating it from 0 to l to get V till the rim.
The equation is V= (Bωl2)/2
Now put values and get the answer
