why demagnetisation takes place if in an magnet ac is passed throiugh awire wound on it ???????????????????

1well i dunno this........BUT i strongly think that....
when u apply an AC a magnetic field is produced around it in d opposite direction of d magnetic field of d magnet....so both gets cancelled off so demagnetisation occurs.......
well if d ans is too dumb...dont scold me...
1this is just because the dipole in the magnet gets disaligned due to AC current
