BEFORE UR POST ITSELF I VE POSTED ABT PARALLEL COMBINATION .. CHECK IT UP.. THE TANK CIRCUIT DRAWS NO CURRENT FROM D AC POWER SOURCE AT RESONANCE SINCE D INDUCTIBE REACTANCE IS EQUAL TO CAPACITIVE REACTANCE.... BY USING PARALLEL IMPEDENCE FORMULA
i.e Z_{PARALLEL}=\frac{1}{\frac{1}{Z_{L}}+\frac{1}{Z_{C}}}
WE GET Z= 1/0=INFINITY...
don't post .. i gave u the key that connection is in parallel .. that was the actual thing i wanted u all to come up with !!
yup in tank circuit L and C are in parallel .... in post #5 .. i wrote u have to find the answer when they are at resonance ..
