Pls forgive me if this question is idiotic beyond compare. But that's what this series is all about - SILLINESS PERSONIFIED [4]
Here goes:
If you connect a motor and generator in such a way that one's output is the other's input and give a small rotation to the generator's armature, what will happen?
Won't this rotation generate some electric power(?), which when supplied to the motor generate mechanical power(?) which in turn further rotates the generator and so on.............................
Won't this in some way violate law of conservation of energy?

P.S:
Pls ignore this thread if you consider such stupid questions a waste of your time[1]

Seems everyone thinks this question is idiotic[2]
thanx guys [2]
well aragon i used to share this doubt till i was in class xii :D
well i was always at a loss to understand why we cant to this..
the basic reason is that the power generated by the 2nd generator will be less than the power input to it.. :)
so it will be of no use!
