in carnot cycle, one process is isothermal and the other is adiabatic. the isothermal process is meant so that heat doesn't flow irrevesible between the working substance and heat reserviour. then WHAT IS THE USE OF HAVING THE ADIABATIC PROCESS IN THE CARNOT CYCLE. plzzz exlpain...

arrey it is wat carnot cycle is all about
isothermal expansion
then adiabatic expansion followed bu isothermal compression and also adiabatic compression.
It is the whole cycle
So what is the point of ur question?

i wanted to wat is the whole fuss of having adiabatic process so as to not allow the heat to flow irreversabily
