No, a galvanometer doesn't have +ve and -ve terminals...thats bcoz it can deflect in either direction...so polarity doesn't matter..
and its the same for a real one too, as the diff is only in that the real galv has some resistance...that means, it won't show an accurate value

i think galvanometer has negative and positive terminals...becoz galvanometer is a device which shows the presence of current in the circuit & along which direction it is flowing, ie. from left to right or from right to left.
when there is no current in the circuit needle stays at middle of the meter. but if current is flowing from left to right neede will deflect towards right & if current is flowing from right to left needle will deflect towards left . so galvanometer is basically to show the direction of current in the circuit, so it must have polarity.
no galvanometer does nt have terminals..............it only tells about presence not dir of current....we have studied in 10th...
