Vivek... i made the same mistake...just saw it after i marked with pen[17]

kmmankad yes i totally agree with u!!
AIEEE expects us to rule out aT/x as it is not defined at x=0 but that is a very dirty trick employed here
sri
that is indeed a correct explanation!!!
work done closed is 0
so work done P→Q(path1) + Q→P(path2) =0
ie P→Q(path1) = - Q→P(path2)
ie P→Q(path1) = P→Q(path2)
help!!
In physics... A&R
A:If a charge is taken from P to Q, then.....
R:work done in... is conservative.....
I wrote it as both r true but it is not the correct explanation because 1 statement tells that work is done along the shortest path whereas in stmt 2 though they hav said it is conservative , they hav said w. done around a closed loop is 0....so i thot it is not the correct explanation:(
I know all the insti hav given as both r true and correct expln... iam nt satisfied>>>:(
wat guys....i feel extremely angry and cheated.....i mean,at this level,if questions are wrong/ambiguous.....then what can we expect?.....their mistakes just made the difference in sum1's future!NOT FAIR!!!
even there was one abt x,v,a and which of expressions dont change with time,...there also,2 are right....the aT/x and a^2T^2+4pi^2v^2....
hehe me made a stupider mistake in this q i found sample space as 14 and considered both 80 and 08 so prob came 1/7 [17]
oh, at/x is not the answer??? another 10 marks gone then[2]
but the limit tends to -4Ï€2/T2 at x=0
anirudh,u have made the same mistake i did
read the question again but this time carefully, the qn says find the prob if the product of the digits is zero (its 'if' not 'and')
hey, i wanna know why that probability is 1/14 and not 1/50
the question is clean!!!.
product of digits is 0 so one digit has to be 0.....
Sum of digits is 8 so the other digit has to be 8
thus the ticket has to 08 as there is no ticket 80
probability of choosing this ticket is 1/50
where does conditional probability come in here?
thanks vivek and see aakash's sols as in #34
i think u too have messed in maths(i know its ur stongest subject)
i know many ppl messed in maths this time , yes agree with u on A R ambiguities so marks may go up by 10 ! if we r lucky
what abt that 8 mark question in math abt a polynomial function,i felt that there were 2 correct answers and that bijection -8 mark assertion/reason question seemed to have multiple answers too,it depends on the way you see it
@celestine - those r awesome marks
i'm getting 119 in phy,114 in chem[1] ,
87 in math[2]
no dude not expecting full in maths
fortunes overturned only 119 in maths 124 in chem 144 in phy
heyy celestine....just read u expecting full in math !! gr8 ! so what is your ovrall score ??
ur JEE must also be great rite ?? how much ??
it is about sign convention...i think we should take work done on the sys to be +ve...by the sys -ve
one more question which the coaching classes have got wrong
the question in which the 3rd fringe of known light coincides with 4th fringe
of unknown
y coordinate of 3rd fringe = (3-1)λ0D/d = 2λD/d
y coordinate of 4th fringe = (4-1)λD/d = 3λD/d
so the wavelength is 2/3λ0 = 2/3 *590 = 393
and i agree with gordo
but i guess u shud see only magnitude in firstQ
here in the q, they say they increase the pressure at constant temp, so by what u said, shudnt the work odne on the system be +ve?
but by what other institutes say its negetive...
when the volume of the system decreases it should be +ve ..na..
anyways by ur conventions, tell me what wud be the work done on the system when the volume of the system decreases and the magnitude of work is W
dude, im not speaking of me as the system...wat i am telling is clean, the piston of the cylinder is going down in the 414 walla Q...u are applying an external pressure (say equal to the internal one as the process is assumed to be a reversible one), now the displacement of the piston is in the dircetion of application of ur pressure on the piston, so the work done by you on the system (which is the cylinder) is positive...
