sorry...jagaran...for the comments....but at least u should've put ur heart & soul into the sum. It makes things better.
Well the 2nd one.....I'm finding 2 solns.
2logx=xlog2
xlog x = 2log 2
Now, by comparing we can easily say,...that one val. is 2.
Next, try this :
log 4 = 2 log2
Now to equate lhs with rhs there should be a 2x2 in the numerator.
Hence, 4 is satisfied.
now, with 3 and so on it is not working as :
suppose log 32 is denominator....then for numerator...
there must be 3x2=6 which is less than 32
For further values , numerator is constantly decreasing w.r.t val. of x in the denominator.
Hence it's coming to 2,4....and i'm an idiot that I can't find the 3rd soln.
By the way sorry for saying it easy but... which chapter's question is this ?
Here is the link....

Nice explaination by Abhishek Priyam
the graph will intersect at three places hence three solutions....sorry i had misjudged the question at first galnce
@jagran..ur Q2 was done abt 10 months back here...if I remeber correctly..
want to make one thing clear i had no clue about the first question someone shouldn't call it 'easy' people are here to help others and be helped
@ arshad show the steps no trials and errors it has three solutions
take log both sides and solve....
ans will come out to be x=2...
another easy one
@aveek was it easy??? then solve this(without trial and error method)
x2=2x
