(n-1)C(m-1)/2
may seem a very genuine answer..
but i am not fully convinced!
why?
I dontknow :P
Dont worrysky..
dont waste time now
we willworry about all this after JEE :)
it looks too much like C++ prog..
but ... i dunno P and C [2] so sorry....
for n=7, m=2 .... no of iso=p=(7-1)/2 = 3
.....n=7, m=3 ...........p=4 = (3+1)
.....n=7, m=4 (1.e 7-3) .......... p=4
....n=7, m=5 (7-2) .......... p=3
so we can say,
for 2<m<=(n-1)/2 for odd and n/2 for even
p= n-m
for [n-1]/2 < m < n-2 [replace n-1 by n for even]
p=m
and if m=2 or n-2, p=(n-1)/2 for odd and n/2 for even.
yes sky, It will be very very difficult.
Almost impossible.
I can think of a lot of cases.. but the problem here is that there will be a lotof repetitions which are tough to handle
btw I dont think it is worth thinking at this stage of your IIT JEE preparations
thanx!![4]
