pitch of screw gauge is 1mm and there are 100 divisions on circular scale.while measuring diameter of wire,the linear scale reads 1mm and 47th division on circular scale coicides with refrence line.The length of wire is 5.6cm.FInd the curved surface area of wire.

1least count =1mAIN SCALE READING/TOTAL NO OF DIVISIONS OF CIRCULAR SCALE
SO least count=.01mm
now total diameter=main s reading+least count *no of divisions
=1+.01*47
as no zero error so its the actual diameter
