The chemical composition of protoplasm is very complex.It varies a little from one cell to another, although the common elements included in the composition of the protoplasm are the same in all cells.However it is impossible to make an accurate chemical analysis of protoplasm as it ceases to be protoplasm only as soon as it is removed from the organism.
