In cross product, does the mag. give the mag. of the perpendicular vector? Or of what? Isn't the perp. vector a unit vector?

the "perp." vector need not always be unit vector.....
And yes.....the "mag." gives the magnitude of a vector which is perpendicular to the vectors whose cross product u take...
everything in vector algebra and 3-D geometry is well defined and clear-cut.......dat's why i like this subject more than others in math [4]

clearly cross product gives the magnitude and direction of the perpendicular vector to A and B with a unit vector n in direction of A*B
