No, the time taken wont be equal if air resistance is taken into account.
time of rise < time taken to fall
How will air resistance affect the time of flight of a body thrown vertically upwards? Will the time taken to rise still be equal to the time taken to fall as in both cases the air resistance is opposite to the direction of motion?

Plz explain how ?
- Akash Anand For going up gravity and air resistance oppose the motion, but while coming down gravity will support and air resistance will oppose the motion.Upvote·0· Reply ·2013-05-20 22:45:14
