11For surface energy:
when the surface area of a liquid is increased ,the molecules frm bottom rise to surface.and the work donre against cohesive forces is stored in form potential energy on surface...this energy is probably called surface energy...
PLz refer some authentic book for its theory....i just gave rough explanation
