one more stupid question...........IF THE NUMBER OF STUPID QUESTIONS ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH AND U R FRUSTRATED THEN PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW..........ill stop them hehe
Va-Vb=10 volt,Kinetic energy of2C negative charge is taken from A to B ...........

a)increase by 20J

b)decrease by 5J

c)decreases by 20J

d)increase by 5J

a better conceptual one.........
An uncharged insulated conductor A is brought near a charged insulated conductor B . what happens to charge and potential of B ?Why?

hey akand for the first qn it is 0 degree.Becos the given situation satisfies the minimum deviation position and so the ray shud be "parallel" to the base of the prism

hey nice signature.......anywayz heres my ans

skygirl ·

for ur third question ans is C??

use refraction at curved surface distinctly for each side of the lens....

3
iitimcomin ·

sum 1 see if mah ans. is correct!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![2][2][2][2]

1
Akand ·

wel yes.......iiturcomin........its correct.........they also asked if it was anticlockwise or clockwise...........

1
Akand ·

wel wat is its name????
a....2-amino toluene
b...2-amino methyl benzene
c...2-methyl aniline
d...2-methyl benzenamine
e...one of these
f....i dunno

Dr.House ·

answer is 2 methyl aniline

3
iitimcomin ·

anticlockwise na.......

skygirl ·

hey wat abt your third question ?

isnt it C?

1
Akand ·

sky.......this was a doubt......i dont kno d answers........plzz explain urself.........i thought it shud be a or b.......but y c??? explain naa

1
Akand ·

and mathi.........y only c??? i think all are correct.........coz i made this question hehehe

1
skygirl ·

explanation to ur 3rd question:

see refraction at first lens surface:

μ1/v - μ2/u = (μ1 - μ2)/R

=> μ1 /v = (μ1 - μ2)/R

=> v = (μ1 - μ2)/ μ1R

but μ1 < μ2 (tumne kaha)

so v is on the left of this surface.

now,

consider second surface .. (hopefully lens is thin !)

in the same way write the eqn..

finally we'll get: μ3 /v = (μ3 - μ2) /R

=> v = (μ3 - μ2) / μ3R

but μ3 < μ2

so agn v is to the left of this surface..

so we can see..

both the surfaces are acting as diverging surfaces...

so we get two divergent rays... hence ans is C.

(uff ! itnaa likhi :P ans C ba hua toh bahut zaada sad ho jaungi :( ) :P

but sky lets use logic..........the light rays are coming from a denser medium to a rarer medium .........so they will converge....and they will converge twice..........so according to our senses(without using math or phy)....i think it shud be.........convergence with one ray..........I DUNNO......but thts wat logic says

1
Akand ·

hey sanky......nice pic..........but in d organic ques......i think all are rite....i dunno

3
msp ·

akand pls refer to NCERT buk,

1
skygirl ·

denser -> rarer so converge???? !~#@!#$!$!!!!!!!!!

i dunno wat u are ssaying akand ... am sry dear [2]

@sankara..

there are few rays which are paraxial ...

others will gv distorted images... so y bother ...

1
Akand ·

wel sky.......i hav done an expt called glass slab..........and i also kno tht convex lens is a converging lens......so i used both d concepts......hehe but y bother?? u already got a pink...
