hey!!
ther's the crux!!!
the graf mani described is only for 0 to x... (he is corrct in saying that by GP ratio < 1)
but thats niot the case as da graf is very much defined for x>1....
take an eg. x = 2 isnt it defined [7]
tapan dont be confused..
This is the formula for the highest power of 2 in n!
but this has nothing much to do with function of n.
This is a function for every value of x and is defined everywhere.!
I have just come out of a long class of 6 odd hours.. SO am in a heavy head :D
so if i am making any mistake.. pls tell me :)
@manipal..
It is not that complex..
Hint: take the case that x lies between 2 powers of 2!
mani mein tumhari baat samajh gaya wen u had put thise "???" at the end....
I was trying to tell that yeh GP wala formula x>1 ke liye nahi chalega na bhai.....
to u gotta use the P & C formula!!
or mayb ther is sum other meth wich i dunno [2]
@manipal.. yes it will be discontinuous.
No doubt. But it wont be that bad either.
sir, if the formula I gav isnt to be applied,
then isme koi hint do na pl...
otherwise I dunno how to approach as simplifyin [x] = x - {x}
mite not b that useful in this un...
