What are the exams one could apply for during College days to build up a good profile as i have heard a good profile helps in good placements?
I am preparing project for KVPY already..
Joined Civil at NIT Durgapur..
Hoping it converts to Mechanical..
What else can i do??
Very sad about missing KVPY in 11th/12th and NTSE in 10th..
Please some college going student may answer better..

1I am not sure about mine..as we need to have guidance from our Professors..dont know how much help and which type of help i will get..

dont waste too much time in college
take part in college activities..
give various exams outside.. may be join Mensa.. or give NCFM... some of these exams may be useless but at college level they will give you that edge over your friend close to you and also give you a wider perspective of things in life :)
1try and get ur technical paper published in some journals.....i hav heard that it really helps wen u apply for MS abroad
39and getting a paper published aint that easy
u really need a deep understanding of the subject to do it

they are submitted, and usually they are only accepted subject to revision.
